Turnaround time for most unpainted orders is about 2 weeks. It may be longer due to holiday volume, drying
times for larger items, or large volume unpainted orders-- but the 2 weeks is a pretty consistent target time. Orders for
painted chalkware may be 2-3 weeks, depending on the size of the order. I do not keep a large number of items in stock,
painted or unpainted, because of the number of different items I produce. Some of the larger pieces can take 5
or 6 days to dry before they can be shipped or painted. Numbers 160 and 335 are jumbo items that take about 2 weeks to dry
before they can be painted or shipped. An unpainted order that has a large number of the same item may take a little
longer as well, since I can only pour them one at a time. Your order is poured as I receive it, unless you have phoned or
emailed previously. Please do not email catalog numbers of items unless you are sure you are ordering the items.
Once I receive the catalog numbers, I assume you are ordering them, and will put them on the pouring list.
You are welcome to email or phone with the catalog numbers you want to order before you send the order through snail mail.
Doing so allows me to get a start on your order before I receive it in the mail. At this time I do not take credit cards.
Initial checks from a customer must clear before I ship your order. Money orders can make it faster for you if you are ordering
for the first time. There is a $30 fee for all returned checks.
If you are interested in personalizing a painted piece of chalkware, I can paint a gift tag on a santa that is carrying
gifts or a bag. The tag will then be personalized with the name of the person you want on the piece. Just send a note along
with the order or email with your request. I can usually accommodate your wishes for a unique gift for someone special.
If you want a santa or other piece painted with a color different than what is shown, I would be glad to do so as well.
